The Space Between - Women's Yin Yoga & Somatic Breathwork Mini Retreat

Life doesn't always move in neat, predictable chapters.

There are seasons when we find ourselves between what has been and what’s next. Between certainty and uncertainty. Between pushing ourselves to keep everything together and feeling so depleted that we want to pull back completely.

Many of us have become very good at pushing through. We keep going, do more and tell ourselves we’ll slow down once everything is sorted.

But there is another place between those two extremes.

A middle ground where we can soften without giving up. Where we can still take action, make decisions and move forward without relying on pressure, urgency or self-criticism to keep us going.

When the body feels safer, we have more access to perspective, creativity and choice. We’re more able to notice what we need before we’re exhausted, respond rather than react and move through life with more steadiness.

The Space Between is an invitation to pause, reconnect with your body and explore that steadier place within yourself.

A place where clarity, self-trust and a deeper connection with yourself can begin to emerge.

Through Yin Yoga, Meditation and Somatic Breathwork using Conscious Connected Breathing, you’ll be invited to slow down, create space and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels grounded, supportive and deeply nourishing.

Together, these practices can help us build our capacity to stay connected to ourselves when life feels uncertain or challenging, rather than automatically pushing harder or pulling away when things feel too much.

With only 10 women, the afternoon is intimate and intentionally paced, giving you room to move slowly, listen to your body and honour what feels right for you.

During the afternoon you'll experience:

A welcoming opening circle to arrive, connect and settle into the space.

Gentle grounding meditation and somatic practices.

Myofascial release techniques to soften areas of tension and invite greater ease in the body.

A slow, nourishing Yin Yoga practice with longer-held shapes to support your nervous system, create space and invite deep rest.

A guided Somatic Breathwork journey using Conscious Connected Breathing to support emotional release, integration, inner clarity and a deeper connection with your body.

Connection with like-minded women.

A closing circle with tea and nourishing treats to gently integrate the experience.

Whether you're completely new to Yin Yoga and Somatic Breathwork or already love these practices, this retreat has been created to meet you exactly where you are.

You don't need to arrive feeling calm.

You don't need to have everything figured out.

You don't need to know what's next.

Just come as you are.

Many women leave these afternoons feeling calmer, clearer, more grounded and more connected to themselves, often surprised by what becomes possible when they step out of the noise of everyday life and create space to really listen.

If life has been feeling full, uncertain or if you’ve noticed yourself caught between pushing harder and wanting to pull back, perhaps this is your invitation to pause and experience another way.

Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice where supported floor-based shapes are held for several minutes, inviting the body to soften, release tension and create greater ease. With time and stillness, the practice gently improves mobility, encourages deep relaxation and creates space to reconnect with yourself.

Myofascial Release uses specially designed massage balls to apply gentle, sustained pressure to areas of tension within the muscles and fascia. This simple yet effective practice can help ease tightness, improve mobility and create a greater sense of comfort and freedom in the body.

Somatic Breathwork uses Conscious Connected Breathing to gently guide you beyond the constant activity of the thinking mind and into a deeper connection with your body.

As you breathe, the body is given space to process stress, emotions and long-held patterns at a pace that feels supportive. The breath can also create greater awareness of what you’re feeling and needing, opening space for insight, self-compassion and a deeper sense of connection with yourself.

Many women leave feeling calmer, lighter and more expansive, often surprised by the clarity and inner knowing that can emerge when they create space to simply listen.
